The Washington Daffodil Society (WDS) is a plant society in the Washington DC area and its suburbs.  It has dedicated itself to stimulating interest in and to developing an

appreciation for cultivating and hybridizing daffodils. The WDS promotes knowledge of
daffodils and encourages public and private plantings of daffodils. It
provides a varied program of horticultural and educational activities for its
members and the general public. It enhances the Washington area and surrounding
communities with daffodils; and does everything necessary and proper to
accomplish these goals.

Activities throughout the year include a Spring Luncheon with a speaker, the annual WDS
Daffodil Show, a summer picnic, a bulb exchange in the fall, and a club bulb
order which provides members (both locally and throughout the country) with excellent daffodils at bargain prices.
